gear? If so, there is a solution and it's called the HEMI®! With 330 horsepower and 375 lb-ft of torque, the 5.7 HEMI® provides the kind of raw power necessary to move a Jeep JK with ease. If even more power is in order, we offer the 6.1 HEMI® kit. This motor produces 420 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque.

- AEV's custom wiring harnesses use OE connecters and are computer-tested
for proper function before shipping. This eliminates costly mistakes
requiring harness removal and shipment back to the manufacturer.
- AEV's custom steel battery tray holds an Optima Group 31 battery and allows for proper valve-cover clearance.
- AEV's conversion kit can be used with either the 5.7 or 6.1 liter HEMI® s.
- The AEV radiator provides ample cooling for the 5.7L or 6.1L
applications and is an OE style direct bolt-in. Also, the radiator
works with the stock electric fan.
- AEV Engine mounts use our "No measuring" system and line up directly to existing holes in the frame. No guess work!
- AEV Plumbing is OE style and dramatically cleans up the engine bay. All OE type fittings and seals included.
- AEV computers come pre-programmed and ready for use. Simple plug and play.
- The AEV programmer allows the VIN and several setup procedures to be
done without a visit to the local dealer. It also allows for changes to
tire size, gear ratio, etc.
- The AEV Coolant Recovery Bottle is custom molded to factory specs and
further contributes to the OE look and function of the system.
- AEV's exhaust systems are designed specifically for the 5.7 and 6.1 HEMI®
engine in the (2 & 4 door) JK wrangler. These systems are available
in either stainless steel or stainless steel with a ceramic finish.
Conflicts
- This kit will not work with aftermarket performance equipment originally intended for the 3.8L engine.
- Currently the AEV Snorkel will not work with the V8 intakes.
Application
- This kit is intended to be used with 2005-2008 Grand Cherokee or
Commander USED powertrains only. For installations with all new parts,
see the Bill of Materials that is included with the kit. NOT INTENDED FOR USE WITH DODGE RAM ENGINES.
- Currently this kit is for 2007-2009 Jeep Wranglers originally equipped with the 3.8L engine and automatic transmission.
- This kit is only for left hand drive (LHD) vehicles.
- Kit will work with both long and short wheelbases.
